For example, under the “umbrella” of the London Global Table, London based people (or visitors moving through London) come together once a week on a Wednesday. for two hours between 12 and 2 pm. It is an informal, drop-in-as-you-can, network event where like-minded people can share news of particular projects and may choose to embark on a new phase of collaboration with one another.
Despite a few fraught moments, the day was for me, personally, very instructive on many accounts. One outstanding such was the importance of rescuing our distorted reactions to disagreement with someone on some important subject— the nature of money, for example: I say, money as a very complex problem, while you say that, in fact, it is one of the simplest milestones on the way to economic literacy.
